Five couples, all friends and partners in crime, have a problem. The five men have gone off track, and show symptoms of that dreaded disease, BMSS (basic male stupidity syndrome). The women can't take it anymore, and bolt to a hideaway. The men hole up in an historic house on Church Street, where slowly but surely they wither away into dolt dom. The women vow to search for a universal cure that will save the male gender from extinction. The men enlist the help of a real life novelist and the crazy methods of her fictional characters: surveillance, negotiation, and blackmail. What happens to the five women and five men?
