Mdude Nyagali is a well-known Tanzanian activist. Mdude has worked tirelessly to fight and advocate for human rights and good governance in Tanzania for over a decade. During the brutal rule of President John Magufuli, Mdude was targeted repeatedly and suffered illegal arrest, torture by the Tanzanian police and security forces, abductions, and racketeering charges, including drug trafficking.
