At age forty, Sharon's busy life and active ministry came to a tragic halt when she suffered a debilitating back injury. For years, bedridden up to eighteen hours a day, her mental anguish often eclipsed the physical pain, but she drew strength from the Scriptures. After a particularly dark spiritual attack, she heard the Lord speak to her heart: "Write for Me." Reading her Bible through over and over, mounds of handwritten notes flowed from her spirit. Upon her restoration to active ministry, they became comprehensive pulpit sermons and birthed Fresh Manna's engaging entries on many topics.
