would air, he knew that was a time-marker for him to move on to the next day's activity. Darryl

Darryl's life in North Carolina was extremely different from living in Brooklyn. He began
working on a tobacco farm, and though his family and friends thought he would quit, he
toughed it out and gave it his all. His determination was evident throughout his younger years
into adulthood, as he faced multiple challenges and recognized God's hand of protection over
his life early on.
