This is special re-print edition of the 1st edition of Rev. William Faithfull Lumley and Lewis Wright's legendary book "Fulton's Book of Pigeons". Published in 1895, this is considered the definitive work of the late 19th Century on Domestic Pigeons and covers many breeds which were known in England at the time. Included are not only Fancy breeds like Fantails, Pouters, Short Faced Tumblers and others, as well as German Color Pigeons and Utility breeds, but also flying breeds like the Racing Homer, Birmingham Roller, Flying Tumblers, Tipplers and others. This edition was heavily illustrated with plates by the legendary judge and artist J.W. Ludlow. Original copies of this book are extremely rare and often sell for hundreds of dollars. At nearly 600 pages, this is definitely one of the most informative books ever published on pigeons. Note: This edition is a perfect facsimile of the original edition and is not set in a modern typeface. As a result, some type characters and images might suffer from slight imperfections or minor shadows in the page background.
