Here is the final collection of the Ziff-Davis series, G.I. JOE. G.I. JOE VOLUME EIGHT compiles
issues #43-51, the last nine comics of the title. The Korean War was drawing to a close. The U.S.
troops stationed there had to begin looking towards what their individual lives were going to look
like as they began to be rotated home. What events had occurred on the home front with their
families while the brave soldiers were away and how were they changed? These last issues are
simultaneously powerful, heartbreaking and, in some cases, even humorous. It was the end of an
era and the start of something new in America as the old status quo changed.
THIS BOOK IS AVAILABLE IN BOTH HARDCOVER AND TRADE PAPERBACK EDITIONS AS WELL AS IN
EITHER FULL COLOR OR BLACK & WHITE.
