This novel is about my experience of a condition called hydrocephalus. This, loosely, means there is a build-up of excess fluid on my brain that cannot be drained naturally. Over the years it has struck me how many times I have had to explain my condition. Another thing that has caught my attention is how people are looked down upon by others if they have medical issues that aren't visible so are discounted and ignored. I decided to write this book in the hopes that maybe more people can become aware of this rare condition that, in reality, could happen to anyone and any time. This book follow mine and my family's experience and journey with the day to day of this condition. I hope that this book can show you that just because you cant see something, doesn't mean its not there. Hopefully gaining some insight into this will lead to better understanding of more 'hidden conditions'.
