God created you for intimacy as opposed to being religious. Intimacy means hearing each other's deep feelings and needs. It means relating emotionally and feeling one another's emotions. If you are one of God's sheep then you have the ability to hear His voice!Psalms 23:1 says, The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.Jesus said, "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me" John 10:27.I thought all Christians hear God's voice. However, I, even recently, have been amazed at how many wonderful Christian people live their lives without intimacy with God. It is interesting that in the USA during the 1600s the Puritans used to torture and kill the Quakers because the Puritans could not tolerate Christians who believed in direct communication with God. Many saints were tortured and martyred because of this.So many people worship God's principles rather than Him personally. So many well-meaning Christians are subconsciously afraid to get too close to God. That idea amazes me, but it is true. This book is an easy to follow encouraging process that I have been through since 1979 and I am simply sharing my testimony of the blessing that hearing God's voice has been for me.Larry Chkoreff
