Monty shuffles between foster care homes and is expelled from numerous schools, but he never finds the peace he once had when his grandmother was alive. His two friends, Jenaye and B.J., provide one source of comfort, but it's not enough. After college, Monty lands a top corporate job, works his way up the ladder, and is promoted to vice president. He's trying to start a relationship with Jenaye, but there's something holding him back. Could it be his vendetta against God?
