Volunteers don't have a lot of time to prepare, but our kids deserve to have quality lessons. These 52 reproducible lessons accommodate both! Heroes like Abraham, Moses, Joshua, David, and Esther teach us valuable truths. While chumps like Samson and King Saul demonstrate what not to do. The first quarter of this curriculum features stories from Abraham through Samson, the second quarter begins with Samuel and examines a few of the kings and the third quarter brings to life lessons from the apostles. The final quarter includes lessons for holidays and special times like Advent and Christmas, Palm Sunday, Easter, Pentecost and Back to School. Designed for volunteers who find themselves so busy sometimes they can't prepare until Saturday evening, each of the crafts and activities are easy to do, and the stories are written out so the leader can simply read the script or reword it to fit their personality. Each lesson has enough activities to reinforce the lesson and keep the class busy for at least sixty minutes; however, it can easily be modified to fit a 20 or 30 minute time slot. You'll find a brief overview of the lessons along with samples you can download here: https: //hubpages.com/religion-philosophy/CCHeroes
