How I Love Your Word beckons its readers to drink deeply of the riches contained in Ps 119. Ps 119 is an acrostic poem. Hebrew is a picturesque language, and the letters of Hebrew operate as words themselves. Hence, the meaning of the words is encoded in its Hebrew letters. This fascinating fact led Laurie to carefully examine each verse in this light, and opened up greater insight and prophetic understanding to what the Spirit of God was communicating through the inspired writings of Scripture. Laurie seeks to faithfully interpret Scripture with Scripture to bring a fuller and richer flavor to what is apparent from the textual surface. As you read, the Spirit will bring to your mind other relevant passages to increase your own understanding of this chapter, and your love for our Lord. Come thirsty, and allow the Spirit of God to speak to you. Bring with you a notebook and pen as you traverse these first 80 verses of this magnificent psalm! Laurie Grooman is a life long student of Scripture since she came to Christ as a teenager. During her college years, she studied Koine Greek for nearly two years, which fueled her love for languages. Her educational background is in education and linguistics. She met her husband while studying at the Summer Institute of Linguistics and both she and her husband were members of Wycliffe Bible Translators. She and her husband have been married for over 25 years and have two sons. The two have been active in ministry leadership, with Laurie being involved in Community Bible Study and her husband, a worship leader and songwriter. It was largely through his influence that led Laurie to this study and writing on Ps 119. This is her first book.
