They had killed his Kathy. The two men knocked on the door, asked for Mickey Phillips, then sapped him. When he woke up, they had him tied up, forced to watch as they brutally murdered her in front of him. Straining at the ropes, he finally dislocated both his arms and passed out from the pain ... but just to make sure there weren't any witnesses, they shot him, left him for dead.
