Charlie is a man tormented by his wife's mental instabilities and abuse, but also his undying love for her. She constantly makes fun of him for being wishy-washy and changing his mind on a whim. She nags, starts unnecessary fights, and causes her entire family to walk on eggshells. He ultimately makes a fateful decision to have her killed while on a family vacation. Charlie envisions a more peaceful life for himself, and their children, with his wife out of the picture. But when the hired killers deviate from the script and kidnap her instead, his entire world gets flipped upside down. Soon the ransom and extortion demands begin... Charlie changes his mind, and is left to find a way to both save his wife from the kidnappers, and save himself from prison, setting up an epic confrontation that ends with a shocking twist.
