The truth is that the Ibo should be grateful that the Yoruba people welcomed them peacefully to Lagos and made them feel at home. They should not take for granted the humility and kindness of the Yoruba people. The Ibo did not make Lagos, but Lagos made them. The Ibo reiterated their position to the Yoruba for the umpteenth time that they will not and can never be our ally. You can feel that every day in discussions, debates and general questions. We rarely agree with each other. The resentment between us is no joke. Unless they support the political aspirations of the Yoruba people in 2023 to govern Nigeria, they will have to leave our land and return to their erosion-ravaged huts.
