Amber Wilmington was considering the very many ways to take her life because it was the only logical way to blunt the pain she was experiencing from losing her daughter, that is, of course, until her brother reveals another options that might very well allow them to see Jayde Jennings once more. Nothing can get in their way of seeing Jayde once again as they face hurdles to get the very place they need to be to accomplish this, but what they weren't aware of was the repercussions of their actions, and it might not be as awesome of an experience as they once thought.
Meanwhile, the vampires attempt to maintain control of their recently overrun township while preparing for the transformation of the halfling Bobby Jennings into a full vampire. Bobby faces uncertainty as he tries to overcome the harsh pain of his new realities and battles his inner demon trying everything in his power to not allow it to overcome him. Will he survive?
