From the original book of 1854 was published in Wien by L. T. Neumann, which contains 152 lithographed, divided by historical period, from the early XVII century to 1850 around. At the bottom of every plates are the image name and pagination number. We have realized our book in great part with the collection of NYPL with his 91 lithographed, hand-colored panels from 'Das Oesterreichische Heer von Ferdinand II. Römisch Deutschen Kaiser, bis Franz Josef I. Kaiser von Österreich'. The NYPL lithographs are in overall dicrete condition with fresh colors. The sheets with foxing and partly slightly toned, some corners with creases. Some sheets trimmed along the margin. All the artistic plates insert in our book, have been cut, cleaned and restored by our soldiershop graphic artists in order to provide the optimal result of the originals.
