She beginning to be afraid that it's something that she's doing that's causing all her relationships to splinter. And this is making her fear that the Jacksons are going to be her next victim. But even as all of this is going on at home, they get their next case. And to Bri's dismay things are still frosty between her and Clark. No matter what she does it seems to always be the wrong thing. It might be getting close to the time to give up on the whole friendship. Their crime scene is a mess, it's clear that the murderer was looking for something, but the question is did they find it? But thankfully for their investigation they didn't, a solid clue pointing towards the murderer. The only question now was could they crack the code that would reveal to them what that clue might be. But the case isn't the only thing that isn't giving its secrets easily. Bri still can't figure out how to make things better with Clark. And before she knows it the problem spreads to the rest of the apprentices on the homicide floor. Desperate to not lose this family as well Bri tries to stop what has already happened. And now she worries what Captain Wells is going to say about the whole thing. Finally the code is cracked, now they just have to decide how to use this new information to catch the killer. But even as they implement their plan some of them are worried that it isn't going to work. That whoever it is will not do anything risky so close after the murder. So, who is right? And will they ever find who it was that killed Penelope , or will her killer go free?
