The nights are sweaty. The world is a gray area of right and wrong, soft jazz from a solo saxophone plays in the background, and Jack keeps hearing his actions narrated by the voice of a 1940s gumshoe. After facing evil holiday symbols, and encountering legendary beasts, the young detective is focused on a new goal, but detective's training won't be easy.
He will learn to trust no one... not even his own reflection. The challenge of the Four Seasons has concluded, but Teddy's last words still haunt Jack's thoughts. Uncertain whether or not he's sleepwalking, he struggles with a darkness brewing within him. He finds himself making questionable decisions on his investigation to find his father.
With Jack fresh from one journey, Sonny's new angelic abilities scarcely understood, and Rocho damaged from the challenge, the group must find a way through unfamiliar locations in the afterlife. Traveling to Oracle Island hidden deep in the Bermuda Triangle will be Jack's most difficult journey, but escaping might be impossible.
In the fourth installment of The Jack Taylor Cases, our young detective will bargain his way through the afterlife. In the end, readers will be desperate to reach for the fifth and final book yet to come, as the young detective ultimately discovers who is responsible for his father's death.
