Lieutenant Jack Bergman is probably one of the most hated men in the city. After taking down the previous mayor, commissioner and chief, he feels like he has a bullseye painted on his back. When Jack's gun is found at a crime scene as the murder weapon of a local mobster, his world gets turned upside down. He'll have to use all the available resources to keep himself out of jail and his family safe. When he's further accused of kidnapping the new female detective at Midtown, the emergence of a sinister and complex plot to take Jack out has him doubting everyone and everything. Are the conspirators from Jack's past or is he really a kidnapper and murderer? Will the new city government, which includes a new Mayor, Commissioner and Chief's first official act be assigning a new commander of PCS as Jack goes to prison?
