CHANGING LIVES ONE HAMBURGER AT A TIME In Jesus Burgers, Volume 3, over 20 people share their stories of how they have experienced the miraculous work of God in their own lives, and how they have gone on to share the love of God at the ministry of Jesus Burgers, handing out free hamburgers and loving on people there. Isla Vista is a densely populated city adjacent to the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), one of the top party schools in the nation. Over 20,000 people live together in one square mile, so you can imagine how wild it can be on any given weekend! Every Friday night of the school year for over 15 years, Isla Vista Church has freely shared approximately 200 hamburgers, warm hugs, and love without limits on the party street of Del Playa. This ministry has been the hands and heart of Jesus to the city, demonstrating the simple truth that God is love, His desire is for relationship, and that He has come to give us life and life abundantly. Each of these stories is a testament to the goodness of God and the power of His transforming love in this college town-and beyond.
