It is probably inappropriate to label a singer as a cash in product. After all, a singer is an artist and not a laundry detergent commercial. The problem here is that the talented
doesn't seem to know the difference and has taken the lovely Tennessean
as his "find." For all evident purposes, he has made her into a
cardboard cut out. Sure she seems sweet, sure she has voice and looks, too, but absolutely nothing here stands out as original or distinguishing, which is exactly what is demanded of a new artist who wants to make a career. There are some very listenable songs here with very nice production,
even lends his vocals to a remake of

from the
soundtrack is pretty, but its best attribute was not due to itself but by playing at the emotional peak of that movie when
danced with the friendly ghost. It is hard to understand how the album goes wrong when the songs are decent, the production is decent, there is a duet with an
member, some R&B, some pop, some dance, and an attractive vocalist. The problem is that
