This Christian, contemporary, speculative fiction takes Christians on eerie, supernatural trips that reveal the demonic works behind many evils in the world. The Holy Spirit takes John Greenberg on supernatural journeys that reveal hidden things that compel him to pray earnestly. He intercedes for his neighbor; however, he doesn't realize the effectiveness of his prayers, leaving him frustrated. God takes him on other journeys that reveal larger-scale demonic evils that have spawned among other things-the war in Ukraine and vaccine mandates. He lacks the ability to pray effectively for those evils, and several bad outcomes clobber him. If he wants to pray better, John understands he has to hear from the Holy Spirit, but numerous obstacles prevent him from learning to listen. His church expels him, and the government throws him into jail. While in jail, John discovers he has to be patient to hear from the Holy Spirit on how to pray, and that the Holy Spirit's guidance is more important than supernaturally obtained information.
