I grew up reading Science Fiction and became addicted to the genre, good, bad or plain silly didn't matter. As I grew older my interest moved on to real science, not the physics you learn in High School but particle and theoretical physics. I am fascinated by the idea of entanglement or as Mr. Einstein put it, Spooky action at a distance. As you probably know, nothing moves faster than the speed of light and that includes information but with entanglement, a particle on the far side of Mars can be entangled with a particle in Clemson, SC and will know instantaneously if something happens to the one in Clemson. This got me to thinking, what if you could walk into the hall closet and step out on the surface of Jupiter? This book is an attempt to combine my two loves of Science and Science Fiction into something that might spark the imagination of a child who may grow up to be a particle physicist if for no other reason than to prove my theories completely absurd.
