****Road Safety***Traffic Lights***upto date
This book narrates a story about two road signs that once lived happily in hermony with each other.
They where both found at important places such as roundabout, pedestrian crossings, pelican crossings and sometimes Zebra crossings.
GO! Was green, and STOP! Was red. In between them was yellow which was for WAIT!
This signs lived happily with other signs such as CHILDREN'S ROAD CROSSING SIGNS!
Some children wore helmet and reflective jacket whilst on the Road to protect themselves incase all else fails.
To compliment the road signs, they also wore seatbelts, and for the younger children, child appropriate seats to protect them.
When children rode scooters, they were treated like normal road users. Therefore they took extra care at junctions, corners and on the road.
Most children were clever enough to learn that
RED! Is STOP
AMBER! Is WAIT!
GREEN is GO!
Before setting off on thier scooters, they checked to ensure nothing was loose, thier wheels where inflated, and their brakes where in good working order.
Why this book is important for childhood safety.
Every Parent's primary worry is about their child's safety, Whether riding a scooter, bike, not wearing a car seatbelts in a drunk friend's car or general childhood safety hazard that kids may come across on the road is a major headache for parent's. Hence this book aims to cover thier worst nightmares and dangers that children may face whilst playing outdoors. It's all about educating them to create a secure environment on our roads, and to better prepare them for any mishaps.
