collects 18 remakes of contemporary hits that also feature a chorus of kids singing along with the hooks. Depending on the song, the effect is either fun or creepy; generally,
punk-pop
songs like the covers of
blink-182

"Fly,"
and
Smash Mouth
's invincible
"All Star"
fare the best as singalong material for kids, as do nonsensical hits like
LFO
"Summer Girls"
Barenaked Ladies

However, it's more than a little unsettling to hear children singing along to the chorus of
Britney Spears
"Oops! ... I Did It Again"
("I'm not that innocent") and it's just downright annoying on
"Blue (Da Ba Dee)"
"That Don't Impress Me Much."
Overall,
provides parents with a safe collection of
pop
