During a time of transition, the purpose and meaning of humanity is changing. Reality has evolved. An intelligent technology has gained control over society while people throughout the world struggle to adjust. Will advanced technology save humanity or will it remove what being human means? At what point is there too much technology? This is a time where a person's purpose is questioned and the understanding of reality is challenged. Can or should humanity accept this change? Have people lost the ability for free choice? Chrysalis is a story about such a time where two people who had fallen in love are forced to confront the changing world around them. Their love for one another will be tested in strange and unexpected ways. They have forcefully been separated without knowing why. They must adapt to a new world that is both dangerous and exciting. As they begin to search for one another they must learn to live in a different world where basic human rights are in question. Without choice or freedom they look inside themselves to find strength and hope.
