The catalog of the Fondo Autografi of the Biblioteca di Storia delle Scienze "Carlo Vigano", located at the Brescia branch of the Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, completes the cultural physiognomy of its attentive collector, a bibliophile engineer and collector who, in harmony with the peculiarities of his specialized library, has brought together one hundred and thirty folders of autographs of scientists from a wide range of fields, including the 16th and 20th centuries. The contextualization of the graphic testimonies, often of an epistolary nature, has made it possible to reconstruct the flow of the book trade, but above all the network of scientific-professional and political relationships of the protagonists, also configuring unpublished biographical episodes.
