Welcome to your leadership toolbelt! In most, if not every, professional development course, the facilitator says something along the lines of "Here's another tool for your toolbelt." I'm not sure about you, but have gained all these "tools," but never got the toolbelt. Did I miss being issued the toolbelt? When was that class? After years of leading at various levels, studying leadership, teaching & coaching others to enhance their leadership capacity, and through my own experiences (both successes and failures), I identified commonalities in leadership concepts. I reached the conclusion that most, if not all, of the concepts are built, or enhanced by, the foundations found in my new leadership approach: Leadership in Two Steps. Once I realized that this is the toolbelt to hang all our other tools on, I knew I had to share it with you!
