Talonar is a world of Light circling a double star. Its own civilization long dead and gone, it has become the home to an intrepid group of Colonists and one displaced Psychic from the future trying hard to hide her 'powers' and fit in. Talonar is also a world of Dark ruled by wizards and magic and home to a Shadow Lord stranded outside its Gates. Capable of commanding the winds and sworn to protect and nurture a civilization long dead, he searches for redemption and a way back home. When a rogue asteroid crashes into the Black Mountain destroying the Dragon's Gate and closing the Portal between worlds. A virus, unleashed by the asteroid destroys those inhabitants of the Light leaving the remnants of intriguing civilization and a planet ripe for re-colonization. Stranded in the World of Light with no one to guard and nurture, a handful of Shadow Lords and a number of Guardians master skills that can control the natural elements and strive to re-open the portal allowing them to return home. This is a Collection of Stories focusing on the brave Colonists as they build a new life and discover the many wonders and secrets within the World of Talonar.
