The author was born in Aleppo in 1954. He lived the first sixteen years of his life in the Armenian neighbourhoods of Aleppo. Thereafter he moved with his family to Beirut, Lebanon, where he lived in an Armenian neighbourhood of the city for eleven years.
At the age of twenty-seven, after gaining a university degree, he moved to the United Arab Emirates, where he worked for eleven years at the offices of various international companies.
During this period, he started a family with his Cypriot Armenian wife, Rita, with whom he has two sons. At the age of thirty-eight, he moved with his family to Nicosia, Cyprus, where he lives today.
The author describes life within the Armenian communities in those countries through short stories. The current volume describes life in Aleppo.
