Life is a Faith walk, not a Cake walk -Finding Joi in the Journey are highlights of my personal story where I believed at one point, that life was plain and simple, you get what you put into it. While I knew that God existed and that I needed to have a relationship with his Son Jesus to have eternal life, that's what I did, and I truly believed him for just that. What I did not understand is that a relationship with Jesus came with so much more than that. As I began to question God about life and saw those around me who each had a different type of relationship with the same Jesus, I said I knew – I then realized, there had to be more, and I was missing something. After consistently going down a downward spiral, I could feel a tug that seemed to be calling me to step out on faith and trust this God I believed in past mere lip service and head knowledge and exhibiting a life of love. Little did I know I had not even touched the tip of the iceberg when it came to asking, seeking, trusting, believing, and living a life of abundancy that I was promised to have. Although life isn't as easy as we seem to make it to be. Sleep, wake, eat cake, repeat, trials are daily occurrences. BUT the good news is every day is also filled with new mercy, grace, and unexpected blessings from a Father who says that He does exceedingly abundantly above all we could ever ask, think or imagine according to the power that works in us. It is that Faith that brings J.o.i to get us through the Journey of Life. It's not a Cake walk, but DEFINITELY a FAITH Walk – are you ready to find Jesus on the inside of your journey?
