Meet Bennie!
Bennie is a short, hairy, adorable mess and he wants to know about everything. Rescued from a small-town Texas dog pound along with a little spaniel mix named Annie, Bennie finds himself in the middle of all sorts of confusing new experiences. Come along as he explores his new world and gets to know his people and fellow dogs.
Bennie has more hair than any dog in the history of the world, long white hair that flies everywhere, and with black spots for decoration! He's a beauty, but Bennie and his people feel sure a full-sized golden retriever body doesn't really belong on basset hound legs! His short legs create endless problems for him and he's quick to say so.
He's curious about everything from birthdays to astrophysics. He struggles to drink with a straw without getting his beverage up his nose. He occasionally suffers from a condition he calls discombobulation. He loves Annie and adores the season during which the acorns fall from the oak trees. In short (sorry, Bennie), he's living his best life and want to tell everyone all about it!
