Lifeline: A Warrior's Cry for Help
follows the life of Mike Perez, a seasoned combat veteran who deals with the stressors that accompany the life of an Army soldier. On the surface, Mike appears to have the ideal life he's built for himself: loving family, devoted friends, and decorated military career. He has learned to overcome moral and psychological injuries from his past deployments. While on his third deployment, a love interest from Mike's past resurfaces and disrupts his tranquil life.
Further complicating matters, Mike sustains a severe combat injury that requires medical evacuation back to the United States. Upon his return, Mike must once again battle his invisible demons, while healing and recovering from his injuries, and prepare to navigate the next chapter of his life. Along his journey to recovery, Mike must also face secrets he thought were long forgotten.
