Chris Otiko was being held at gun point by the stoned ex boyfriend of the girl he just had lost his virginity to when his life flashes before him as remembers the events that led an African born, British raised kid to this bizarre situation in rural Oklahoma. The story takes you back to the tragic Biafran War in Nigeria in the turbulent year of 1968 when Chris was born and where his family fled from after being cursed by a witchdoctor. Chris leads an idyllic boyhood in his London Years, but his life is destroyed when his father makes the mistake of moving the family back to Africa in the eighties. In this second part of the book: Return to Africa, Chris struggles to survive starvation, diseases, corruption and inhumane brutality in Nigeria before he fulfills his dream of coming to America. Chris's life then takes off as he chases his American Dreams of becoming a doctor and embarks on a bizarre series of adventures including, losing a close friend to AIDS, meeting a generous millionaire, posing nude, and even ruining Dr. Laura's day, all at the same time as holding down three jobs and searching love.
