This story takes place on the 'Lazy L Ranch' in Casper, Wyoming. Cody and Rachel Larson have two sons, Conner (29) and Cole (27). Conner was the loyal son, while Cole left the ranch and spent seven years in California. While there, he fell in love with Grace Turner, whom he dated the whole time he was there. She grew tired of waiting for a marriage proposal from Cole, and decided to move on with Rock Star, Mike Hunter. Broken-hearted, Cole left California and moved back home to the ranch.
