Love's Left Foot marks the emotional trail of the Poet's life. The journey winds past the reflective memories of "Early Roads" to the anguished cries of "A Son's Lament", the whimsical and light-hearted "Silk on the Tracks" and "The Bottle", punctuated by the melancholy memorial tributes of "African Sunset" and "Remember the Child", as well as the politically inspired "Brothers". The title poem, "Love's Left Foot" is a tribute to the late Nelson Mandela, written on the occasion of his passing.
