Lainie confides in her friends about the magical timepiece. At first, they can't believe it and encourage her to have some fun trying out the magic. Laine buys a house and vineyard in the country, intending to make it a wedding venue. But helping couples say "I do" turns deadly as paranormal creatures pursue her after the talisman's power. And her life totally comes unhinged when a hunky hero is conjured out of a romance novel. Determined to win her heart and her trust, he misguidedly creates a scene she has trouble explaining to the authorities. He's a fish-out-of-water type, when she introduces him to her family at Thanksgiving, but he's caring and thoughtful, not to mention oh-so-hot, and more importantly, familiar with the magical, supernatural world.
