I'd like to point out that this is NOT a biography of the exalted one – Edward Farhat – known throughout the civilized world as The Sheik – The Original Detroit Terror! This brief book is about my memories of interacting with The Sheik during my decades long journey through the wonderful world of professional wrestling. As a two time Hall of Fame wrestling writer/photographer I have selected exclusive photos from my files – some never having been seen since the moment that I clicked the shutter on my camera – for fans to enjoy. In addition, I have added some early Sheik memorabilia from my extensive personal wrestling collection that Sheik fans will enjoy seeing and reading. Whether it was The Sheik banning me from photographing at ringside - to the invitation to The Sheik's mansion to discuss a job offer to join Big Time Wrestling – to The Sheik taking time to get just the right amount of drool for a bloody locker room photograph – it was always a thrill and an honor to interact with this incredible man who was truly a living Legend!
