Melita is a young bee who loves caring for her family, including her mother, Queen Melissa. She is a loving, kind, and caring bee who is as attracted to stories as she is to pollen and nectar. Ryan and JoAnn, her favourite humans, love to tell stories around the hive.One day, a mysterious wind carries Melita to Ancient Egypt, where she meets Re, a god, who cries, and from his tears, bees are created. Re promises to take care of Melita and the bees.
