School is almost over for the summer and the End of School carnival is coming. One of the major events is the Allen Bicycle Race, Michelle's first big event since joining the girls' bicycle team. During the planning for the festivities she meets the carnival manager Gus and they become friends. The carnival's opens and everyone is having fun when a huge explosion rocks downtown Allen. Someone had planted a bomb in the Haunted House ride. Michelle manages to locate two of her friends and get them out of the Haunted House just prior to the explosion. The resulting investigation finds that the main Jewelry store in town had been robbed during the explosion. All evidence points to Michelle's new friend, Gus. It is up to Michelle and Leonardo to determine who is really responsible and to clear Gus of the explosion and theft. On top of that, she is having problems with her best friend Amanda and she needs to be ready for her first big race.
