Uncle (Tony Ka Fai Leung) runs a small restaurant that doesn't have any set menus, as he just makes whatever his patrons want as long as he has the ingredients for it. Opening his establishment everyday at dusk, he meets different people with different heartaches: a boxer who suffers from unrequited love; an executive trying his best to impress his high school crush; a military man with anger issues; a singer who meets a songwriter; and a model and a cab driver whose love is flourishing. This Chinese film adaptation of the original Japanese television series is directed by Tony Ka Fai Leung.
