Mike Wallace Is Here recounts the career of Mike Wallace, a celebrated American journalist best known the program 60 minutes and for his confrontational and unnerving questions for politicians, business power players, and celebrities. The documentary follows Wallace from his beginnings as a game show host and product pitchman to his first-ever late-night interview program, Night Beat. After his son's death in 1962, Wallace decides to become a serious reporter, and a few years later, his magnum opus, 60 Minutes, is born. Directed by Avi Belkin.
