After Lieutenant Artemis (Milla Jovovich) and her team of elite soldiers go through a portal and get transported to a different dimension, they are faced with a threat they have never encountered before: huge, powerful monsters. In the middle of the chaos, however, they meet The Hunter (Tony Jaa), a mysterious warrior whose impressive skills have allowed him to last in the new, hostile land.
