Joseph and his family arrive for a much-anticipated visit at his uncle's cabin in the Rocky Mountains. After discovering fresh cougar tracks near the cabin, the two uncover hidden evidence of local horse thieves during their first exploration in the mountains. But soon their outdoor expertise is put to a life-or-death test as they attempt to rescue a young hiker lost in the mountains. Racing against a deadly storm and wildfire, and confronted by poachers and wolves, Joseph's faith is challenged as he and Moon battle to survive in a heroic struggle of triumph over tragedy.
