This is a complete fiction. Mia a young college student socialized with foreigners. They were very good friends. Because Mia was very athletic, boys allowed her to play soccer where she shined as usual. After graduation she promised to visit them as often as her time will allow but only and only if they become a President of their Country. There were few that didn't make it and according to Mia they were a loosers. Richard, a love of her life got hurt saving her during attack in China. He never came out of the comma when she had to leave the Country. Richard later was transferred to USA in family request so it was a goodbye for Mia. What will happens to Richard, we don't know until maybe the next book.
