Dwight (Patrick Fugit), a disturbed young man, takes to the city streets at night, seeking lonely, isolated individuals whose disappearance will not cause a stir. Dwight harvests his victims for their blood to give to his sickly younger brother, Thomas (Owen Campbell). However, Dwight's dark deeds begin to take a toll on him and his sister Jessie (Ingrid Sophie Schram), who struggle to reconcile their strategies for caring for their ailing, unusual brother.
