My life of Humor, Chaos and Drama is a non-fiction. This book comprises of events that occured in my life. Some were humorous, some dramatic and others chaotic.. Humor played an important part in my life growing up because some of my family members are comedians. We believe that laughter is the best medicine. An outstanding chaotic experience occurred, when I was present at the collapsing of the second tower of the World Trade Center on September, 11th 2001. The police officer saw me and told me to run or I would be killed. I heeded the urgent warning and ran to escape the crumbling debris. I walked for three and a half hours over the Brooklyn Bridge to get home. I was covered with white dust and hardly recognizable. I thank God for being with me that day and guiding me to safety. Dramatic experiences were numerous, such as scenes leading to the Inauguration of President Barack Obama. At any given day, there was drama In the New York subway. Humor and drama occured just riding the trains to and from work in New York City. Nelcia Smith migrated from St. Vincent and the Grenadines, to the United States of America in 1986. She was trained as a Dental Assistant in Silver Spring, Maryland. Ms. Smith attained an Associate Degree in Dental Laboratory Technology, from the New York City College of Technology in New York. She specialized in Full and Partial Dentures and Maxillofacial Prostheses. Ms. Smith worked as a Certified Dental Assistant for twenty years. She served well in this capacity. She worked with General Dentist, Oral Surgeons, Periodontists and Endodontists (Root Canal Specialists), in New York and in Florida. Nelcia Smith earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition from Kaplan University, now Purdue University. She graduated Suma Cum Laude in 2015. She is presently working in the Nutrition Department at Advent Health, Orlando, Florida. Ms. Smith likes travelling abroard to explore new places. Her hobbies are reading, writing and she enjoys solving crossword puzzles on a daily basis.
