MY LITTLE MARGIE was a situation comedy that began on CBS in June, 1952, as a summer replacement for I LOVE LUCY, starring popular actress Gale Storm and former silent movie actor Charles Farrell. As with LUCY, the show was set in New York City and featured an attractive young woman whose well-meaning schemes often backfired to comedic effect.
Twenty-one-year-old Margie Albright shares an elegant apartment with her widowed father,
Vern, a vice-president of the prestigious investment firm Honeywell & Todd-a job frequently endangered by Margie's shenanigans. Add a talented supporting cast and hilarity ensues.
The MY LITTLE MARGIE television series was so popular that the stars of the production also performed in the MY LITTLE MARGIE radio show. Charlton Comics began publishing the MY
LITTLE MARGIE comic book in July of 1954. The comics ran for fifty-four issues with much of the artwork in the beginning by the great Chic Stone
