Three adventurous friends acquire a coastal hotel in an old pirate town. Toby, his partner Daniel, and his best friend Carla begin to experience strange occurrences. Daniel's psychic friend Maria tries to connect with the spirits but is blocked for some reason. The resort begins to grow with the acquisition of several more attractions, which are constantly being observed by a stranger lurking in the dunes. Toby, the focal point of the spirits, is visited by the ghost of Captain Benjamin Walker, a pirate with cryptic messages to decipher. Looking for clues, Toby returns to the orphanage where he grew up and finds a young boy who captures his heart. Daniel becomes entangled with Roger, the sinister director of the drag show who's performing at the resort. A secret pirate museum is revealed while the tragic death of a young girl is connected to the apparition high on the widow's walk. Carla tries to navigate the strange sightings while trying to find some sort of romance and keep the resort on track. Toby, Daniel, and Carla try desperately to remain friends and keep their sanity as the lighthouse searches for the truth and guides them to safety.
