The distributors of the French-filmed hoped to generate extra business by tacking on a parenthetical subtitle, suggesting that the film was in some way related to the soft-core series. Actually the film goes off on a different tangent by having Nea (Ann Zacharias) ease into her sexual adventures out of boredom rather than supposed necessity (a la Emmanuelle). Chafing under her suppressive parents, Nea begins keeping a secret diary, recording her innermost erotic yearnings. When imagination proves inadequate, she decides to experience first-hand the things she's previously only fantasized about.
